Adult Bible Study

Led by Pastor Shane Russell

Pastor Shane is teaching a Bible study based on the book The Reason for God by Tim Keller. All citations noted with page numbers are direct quotations from the book. Along with my notes (PDF links below), there will be a Video Study on Facebook. So, tune in on Wednesday Nights at 6:30 pm by clicking on this Video Study link.
How could a loving God send people to hell? Why does he allow suffering? Can one religion be “right” and the others “wrong”? Responding to the questions of open skeptics and ardent believers, Keller draws from literature, philosophy, reason, and real-life conversations to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief.

James Series

Where Real Faith Meets Real Life | 6:30-8 pm | Youth Center
Why study James? Because the book of James is where “the rubber meets the road” when it comes to real faith impacting real life. Pastor Johnny Hunt describes the book of James as “shoe leather” wrapped around faith because James teaches about practical everyday issues that directly impact our walk with God!
Join us as James teaches us how to: turn trials into triumphs, handle temptation, treat other people fairly and equally, know genuine faith from false faith, control our tongue, get wisdom, plan ahead, develop patience, pray and more! Watch LIVE on Instagram!
