The Mystery of Christmas

Dec 1-15: Sermon Series | Dec 22: Christmas Services (8&11 am and 5 pm)

During the Christmas season, we are confronted with one of the greatest mysteries the world has ever known. It is the mystery of the incarnation. How could it be that the God of the universe would leave heaven, come to earth, and take on flesh? Yet, this mystery was not one that happened only at a moment in time, it was God’s plan from all eternity. The Scripture tells us that Jesus is the One “who was, and is, and is to come.” In this series, we will discover how the celebration of Christ at Christmas is not only that of a baby in a manger in Bethlehem, but in Him God has made known to us The Mystery of Christmas past, present, and future!

On Sunday, December 1, we will kick off this Christmas season with a sermon series by Pastor Shane Russell entitled “The Mystery of Christmas.” We will also have advent devotional books available for your family to pick up at the HomePointe display in the Welcome Center lobby. It’s a great tool to help you and your family prepare your hearts for the celebration of the birth of our Savior. For more information about Homepointe, go to Invite friends & family to this special December series and presentation. Christmas invite cards are available in the lobby.
