Connection Class Reboot Session 3

Jesus left us with the Great Commission to 'Make Disciples.' While He spoke to large groups, His disciple-making focused on small groups. This was also true of the early church which met together in large groups 'at the temple', and in small groups 'going house to house.'

At SCBC , our passion is to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ across the street and around the world. However, like Jesus, to do so we must make disciples! While we enjoy worshiping Christ corporately, it is in small groups where real discipleship takes place. These Connection Classes are vital for us to carry out the Great Commission.

    The Mystery of Christmas Future
During the Christmas season, we are confronted with one of the greatest mysteries the world has ever known. It is the mystery of the incarnation. How could it be that the God of the universe would leave heaven, come to earth, and take on flesh? Yet, this mystery was not one that happened only at a moment in time, it was God’s plan from all eternity. The Scripture tells us that Jesus is the One “who was, and is, and is to come.” In this series, we will discover how the celebration of Christ at Christmas is not only that of a baby in a manger in Bethlehem, but in Him God has made known to us The Mystery of Christmas past, present, and future!
