Life in 3D Student Life for Kids Camp
June 28-July 1, 2010
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8
We all know that we’re supposed to live in a way that honors God, but what does that look like? Micah, the prophet, helped the Israelites answer that question, and he wrote what is still true for us today. First, do what’s fair. Second, be compassionate in love. Third, don’t take ourselves too seriously. And God has clearly shown us how to do each of these if only we’ll look to Him. What a great week of VBS at Shoal Creek! We followed Joseph in his journey from prison to palace by exploring and learning God's Word through drama, sampling some of the foods from the Egyptian culture, enjoying the many customs and goods of the Egyptian Marketplace, and praising God through music.
